Seehafer has been with his team since 1993 and has recently made significant investments to propel WASPO to the top. In 2021, Waspo dominated the German water polo winning the national championships, Super Cup, and the German Cup, while it achieved the best-ever result in the Champions League. Hannover qualified for the F8 in Belgrade and finished in 6th place.
