Seven days ago, Strasbourg did a great job by beating Marseille. After that big victory, Strasbourg collected six points in away games this week. First, it beat Nice in the rescheduled match of Day 16. The score was 10:4 (Strasbourg led 8:1 early in the third period and slowed after that).
Strasbourg’s rival in the 14th round was Sete. The hosts dictated the pace in the beginning. Sete led by two goals several times (2:0, 3:1, 4:2, 5:3) in the first half. Strasbourg leveled at 5:5. Sete went in front once more – 6:5. In the following minutes, Strasbourg speeded up. The visitors produced a 6:0 series between the 14th and the 21st minute and jumped to an 11:6 lead. Until the end of the game, the visitors increased the margin to eight. Marko Petkovic, who found the net six times was the man of the match.
After the loss to Strasbourg, Marseille returned on the winning track. The champion’s victim was Montpellier, which didn’t play badly. Montpellier did its best.
