The big match of the 7th round of the Portuguese League was an encounter between Sport Alges and Vitoria.
But, the derby lacked the excitements. Vitoria, the reigning champion, dominated. At halftime, Vitoria had a nice 11:6 advantage. After a balanced third quarter (2:2), Vitoria retook control and extended the margin of its win to seven – 17:10.
The next round will bring a new derby. Two unbeaten sides will face off – Vitoria will host Parades.
Parades didn’t have a hard task in the 7th round and ran over Academica – 25:7, which was the biggest win of the day. Parades was the only home team that wasn’t defeated in the 7th round.
