The French League has continued after a six-week break.
The clubs returned to the stage last week, playing in the national cup. This week, they played the games of the 10th matchday of the national championships.
Favorites made no mistakes. The teams placed 1st – 4th in four teams earned convincing away victories.

Marseille traveled to Sete with a rejuvenated team. Prlainovic, Crousillat, Bodegas, and Vukicevic didn’t play in this match. Still, the reigning champion collected the points with a convincing 13:7 victory. At the beginning of the second half, Marseille built a 5-goal lead for the first time (9:4). The visitors controlled the result for the rest of the game.
Strasbourg, which played very well in the French Cup and finished in 2nd place, opened the second half of the league with a 14:7 victory over Pays d’Aix. This match was the derby of the day. However, the hosts leveled the score twice (1:1, 2:2). After that, Strasbourg built a big margin step-by-step.
Noisy-le-Sec beat Reims, which took a 2:0 lead in the first three minutes. However, shortly after, Noisy started dominating. The Parisians’ defense worked perfectly. They produced a 13:1 run. Early in the fourth period, Noisy, led by Alex Bowen, earned a 13:3 lead. The visitors slowed in the last six minutes.
After a series of three losses in six days (two at the Final Eight of the French Cup and one in the LEN Euro Cup), Tourcoing started recovering with a victory over the last-placed Nice (12:8). Tourcoing opened the match with a 3:0 lead. That was followed by several minutes in which Nice played better. Three minutes before the end of the first half, the hosts trailed by two goals (3:5). But, Tourcoing retook control, it scored three unanswered goals in the last three minutes of the first half and jumped to 8:3. Nice couldn’t come back.
