Earlier this summer, we reported that Vincenzo Renzuto was very likely to return to Naples and Posillipo. However, as it turns out, we were wrong, and the Italian player has instead joined the Spanish side Sabadell.
Renzuto, 31, a graduate of Posillipo's academy and a World Champion from Gwangju in 2019, has now joined his second foreign club, following his stint with Jug in the 2017/18 season. During his career in Italy, he played for Recco and Brescia, winning two Italian League and Cup titles.
Renzuto is the latest player to depart from Brescia, following Djorde Lazic, who has joined Novi Beograd, and Edoardo Manzi, who has signed with Trieste.
Sabadell is also expected to announce the signing of American international Alex Bowen soon.
