Fluvial defeated Alges narrowly in the big game of Day 14 of the Portuguese Championship.
The derby offered a lot of excitement. Alges took an opening 2:0 lead. Fluvial, the home team, reduced the gap before the middle break, and it trailed 4:5 at halftime. The hosts continued to dominate in the third quarter too and earned a 9:7 lead. Alges won the last quarter (4:3), but it wasn’t enough for a new turn. Fluvial recorded a 12:11 win.
