Xavi Perez, the Head coach of CN Terrassa, has made his second signing of the summer, bringing the experienced Canadian International, Kindred Paul, to the East of Catalonia.
Paul is the second import heading to Terrassa so far this summer, joining the exciting 24-year-old Dutch winger, Fleurien Bosveld, in making the move to Terrassa.
Paul played for Cal bears during her time studying in the United States (2014-2018) before joining UVSE the season after. The 26-year-old Canadian international spent last season down under, making a dozen appearances for the Sydney Uni Lions.
An Olympian from 2020, the centre back is important signing for a club who are losing some big talent this summer – Bea Ortiz and Paula Leiton are joining the ranks of Sabadell, while Judith Panicello joins Sant Feliu.
The Canadian national team are not messing about this season, and their players are keen to be playing in Europe’s top leagues. Yesterday we announced that Hayley McKelvey was moving to Plebiscito Padova, while we also understand that two more Canadian players are on their way to play for CE Mediterrani, and another is already set on playing for NC Vouliagmeni in Greece.
