The Italian League has been continued after a two-week break, caused by the coronavirus outbreak.
The matches were organized with no spectators, but one of the games wasn’t played. Lazio didn’t come to Brescia. The Rome-based club didn’t want to travel to the Region of Lombardy, which is hardly hit by the coronavirus. As we already reported, Lazio’s captain Colosimo was the first one who criticized the decision about playing the matches during the coronavirus emergency. After that, Lazio asked for the postponement of the game Brescia – Lazio, but the Italian Swimming Federation didn’t accept the request. Still, Lazio didn’t want to travel to Brescia, although it risks losing the game without entering the pool (result 0:5). The federation will decide the outcome of the case.
