Marseille and Strasbourg keep perfect records. Tourcoing returned to the winning road after a loss to Montpellier last week. Sete earned its first points in the season.

Marseille beat Strasbourg in its last test before the start of the Champions League. Strasburg played well. Early in the second period, the sides were tied at 2:2. Then, Marseille netted three goals within four minutes and earned a 5:2 lead. In the middle of the third quarter, Strasbourg reduced the gap (5:6). Marseille responded with three goals and went to 9:5 (27th minute). After that, the champion’s victory wasn’t in danger.
Noisy-le-Sec defeated Montpellier narrowly (11:10). The Parisians did a great job in the first half. After eight minutes, they led 4:1. At the beginning of the third, the hosts stretched the margin to five (8:3). Montpellier started climbing back, but it was too late. The visitors reduced the gap to one (10:11) with 32 seconds to go and couldn’t go further.
Tourcoing made a crucial difference in the first half, as well as Noisy. Tourcoing, led by Mehdi Marzouki, had a 7:2 lead at halftime of the match against Pays d’Aix. In the second half, the teams exchanged goals, and Tourcoing maintained a 5-goal difference.
The fourth match of the day was an encounter between the teams that had no points before the fourth round – Sete and Nice. Everything was decided in the second quarter. After the first period, Sete had a slim lead (3:2), but it produced a 5:0 run in the second quarter and was 8:2 up at the middle break. The host stretched the margin to six early in the third (9:2) and there was no way back for Nice.
