The Dutch delegation heading to Long Beach has been confirmed.
Sixteen player have been summoned by Eva Doudesis for the World Cup Finals tournament later this month (23rd-25th June).
The Oranges head to Long Beach as one of the favourites to win the tournament, especially if their form from the qualification round is anything to go by – a showing that saw them defeat the United States for the first time in competitive play since the 2008 Beijing Olympic Final.
The Dutch progress as top seeds in Long Beach, and will face New Zealand in the quarter-finals.
The Netherlands fend off late push to take down the World Champions
There are no surprises in the team. 2022/2023 Spanish Championship and Champions League winner Sabrina Van der Sloot will lead a menacing-looking team that features prolific shooters Simone Van de Kraats and Brigitte Sleeking. Lieke Rogge deservedly keeps her place in the side, with Laura Aarts and Sarah Buis wearing the red caps.
Half the Dutch team spent last season playing outside of the Netherlands.
