One more player who was training in Serbiaβs national team preparation camp in Belgrade has tested positive for coronavirus.
Today, the Water Polo Federation of Serbia announced that Drasko Gogov had tested positive for COVID-19.
Ten days ago, Serbiaβs and Trieste’s center-forwardΒ Nemanja Vico was tested positive. After that, the national team stopped its preparations in Belgrade. All players and the coaching staff were tested. Only head coach Dejan Savicβs test returned positive. Savic feels well and he is self-isolated in home quarantine.
Drasko Gogov, who returned from Italian Serie A1 to Serbian league this summer (he left Trieste and joined Novi Beograd 011), had a high body temperature this week. Because of that, he was tested again a few days ago. The result was positive, but he feels well now, and he will remain in self-isolation in the next 14 days.
The good news is that Nemanja Vico healed of COVID-19. This week, he has tested negative for coronavirus.
Dejan Savic also has no symptoms
-“I am feeling great! The hardest thing is to find a hobby, time passes slowly. I have no symptoms and I believe that the next test on July 5 will be in my favor”, Savic told Serbian daily “Sportski Zurnal” a few days ago.
