Greek side Panathinaikos is looking to seriously strengthen its roster next season with three new Greek recruits.
Dimitris Mazis' side is closing in on the triple signing of Nikos Papasifakis and Nikos Kourouvanis (both from Vouliagmeni) and Apostolos Georgaras (from Patras).
Nikos Papasifakis, 26, had another excellent season with Vouliagmeni, while Nikos Kourouvanis, 24, will be a valuable asset on the right side.
Additionally, the signing of junior Greek international Apostolos Georgaras (18) is an excellent one. By fending off interest from other Greek sides and colleges in America, Panathinaikos is securing the services of one of the country’s top young players.
Panathinaikos finished fourth in the Greek League this season, qualifying them for Europe. They also reached the final of the Greek Cup.Â
