Strahinja Rasovic is poised to return to Serbia and rejoin Radnicki.
The 32-year-old Olympic champion from Tokyo 2020 is set to make his way back home after a season in Hungary with Vasas.
Strahinja, the older brother of Viktor Rasovic, previously played for Radnicki in 2020. He began his career with Crvena Zvezda, where he achieved his greatest club success by winning the Champions League in 2014. His career also took him to Spain, where he played for Barceloneta from 2015 to 2017, and to Hungary, where he spent three prolific seasons with Eger, scoring 263 goals in 120 matches.
A native of Belgrade, Rasovic couldn't resist the allure of joining Novi Beograd as the club emerged as a dominant force. During his time there from 2021 to 2023, he played a pivotal role in leading the team to consecutive Champions League finals.
Since 2021, Rasovic has been a mainstay on the Serbian national team, adding an Olympic gold medal from Tokyo, as well as medals from the World League, World Cup, and Mediterranean Games to his collection of accolades.
As Rasovic prepares for his return to Radnicki, Vasas is expected to lose several key players ahead of the next season.
