Sabadell opened the final strongly, taking a quick 2-0 lead, but UVSE fought back, equalizing at 2-2 with back-to-back penalties. However, Sabadell regained control with a well-executed woman-up play, and the first quarter ended with Sabadell leading 5-3.
The second quarter saw Sabadell extend their lead to 6-3, but UVSE managed to stay in the game, closing the gap to 6-4. Yet, Sabadell continued to find the net, maintaining a 9-7 lead at halftime.
In the third quarter, Sabadell pulled away, increasing their lead to 12-9. They sealed their victory with a 14-11 win, with UVSE unable to beat the Spanish defense in the final moments.
