Two very thrilling games were played in the sixth round of the French League.
Strasbourg recorded a narrow 11:10 away victory in the highlight of the day. Reims upset Montpellier (10:9) for its first win in the season.

Strasbourg continued its unbeaten run with a hard-fought win over Tourcoing. Strasbourg made a big comeback with a 5:0 series in the final minutes. A last-gasp goal decided the match. Tourcoing controlled the match for most of the time. The hosts built an early 3:0 lead and dictated the pace. In the third quarter, Tourcoing stretched the margin to four (8:4, 9:5). Four goals separated the rivals five and a half minutes before the end (10:6), and it seemed that the home team would earn three points. But, Tourcoing ran out of energy for the final minutes. Strasbourg leveled at 10:10 with 53 seconds left on the clock. The hosts had a great chance to equalize 16 seconds from the end, but Charles Cannone hit the post. Strasbourg earned a penalty shot just seven seconds before the buzzer. David Babic took responsibility. He sent the ball into the net. Tourcoing couldn’t equalize and Strasbourg celebrated a big win.
Reims moved from last place in the table with a 10:9 victory over Montpellier. The teams were tied (6:6) before the fourth quarter. Sete, led by Aleksandar Pesteric, who scored three goals in the final eight minutes, gained a 2-goal lead by the middle of the fourth quarter (8:6 and 9:7). Still, Montpellier caught up with the hosts (9:9) in the 31st minute. However, Dubar scored a winner for Reims 70 seconds before the final buzzer – 10:9.
Pays d’Aix, which had a challenging schedule in the first five rounds, finally broke the winless streak. After a series of losses in derbies, Aix hosted Nice. The home team proved who the favorite was and recorded a 14:7 victory with five goals from Guillaume Dino. Pays d’Aix overtook Nice in the standings and climbed into 6th place.
Douai recorded the second win in the season, as well as Pays d’Aix. Douai beat Sete 12:8.
