Adam Krikorian, who currently coaches the United States women’s national team, is widely regarded as one of the most successful coaches in the sport. During his tenure as coach, his team enjoyed one of the longest and most dominant streaks in the history of international water polo.
Krikorian was an exceptional player who played a significant role in UCLA’s 1995 NCAA Championship victory. His coaching foundations were established at UCLA, where he cultivated hugely successful men’s and women’s programmes.
Krikorian took the reins of Team USA in 2009, and has turned his nation into serial winners.
Since he took over as head coach, the United States has won 25 gold medals in 29 major competitions, including three Olympic golds, five world championships, three world cups, three Pan American games, and eleven world league titles.
