Total Player 2023 by Felipe Perrone

December 11, 2023

He debuted at the World Championships in 2001, when he was 15, representing Brazil at the tournament held in Fukuoka.

This summer, he returned to Fukuoka and won the bronze medal, his 16th medal with the Spanish national team. At the age of 37, Felipe Perrone, the 2018 Total Player Award winner, is still one of the best players in the world. The proof of that is that many members of our jury picked Perrone in the top 5 for 2023.

Presenting his list of the best five players in 2023, Perrone mentions one player who isn’t on his list for this year but deserves to be praised:

Special mention: Szilard Jansik, the heart and the soul of the Hungarian National Team.
