Theo Lorantos, the Head Coach of the French Women’s national team, is among the distinguished jurors participating in the Total Player Award process for the first time.

Taking charge in January 2023 as the successor to Emilien Bugeaud, Lorantos swiftly made his mark by guiding France to a commendable 9th place finish at the World Championships in Fukuoka. Looking ahead, he is set to lead France into the spotlight as they compete in their home Olympic Games in Paris next summer.

Lorantos brings a wealth of experience to the coaching arena, having been a three-time Olympian with Greece in 1992, 1996, and 2000. His extensive coaching career in the men’s game includes influential roles at some of Greece’s top clubs, such as Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Panathinaikos, and Palaiou Falirou. Notably, Lorantos previously worked with the Greek women’s national team before parting ways after they fell short of qualifying for the postponed Tokyo Olympics. Here are his votes:
