Tourcoing defeated Strasbourg in the derby 12:9, while Pays dβAix earned its first points with a 16:11 over Montpellier.
Marseille enjoyed an easy cruise and recorded a 12:6 victory over Reims.

Marseille demolished Reims in the first half with an opening 7:0 lead. After that, Reimsβ comeback was a mission impossible. Marseille played without captain Ugo Crousillat. Newcomer Hannes Daube hasnβt debuted for Marseille yet.
Pays dβAix opened the match against Montpellier excellently. The hosts built a 4-goal lead in the early stage of the game (4:0 and 5:1). However, Montpellier was able to get back into the game. It cut the deficit to one in the second quarter (5:6, 6:6, 7:8) and even equalized in the 14th minute (8:8). But, Pays dβAix scored the last two goals in the first half for a 10:8 lead and dominated in the third period. Before the final quarter, Aix had a 5-goal advantage (14:9) and maintained the difference until the end.
Tourcoing and Strasbourg ran a neck-and-neck race. Everything was open until the first period. After a few turns, Tourcoing led 7:6 at halftime. Strasbourgβs Buha opened the third quarter and the visitors leveled at 7:7. But Tourcoing responded with three goals and three goals separated the rivals for the first time β 10:7, which proved vital for their win.
Noisy-le-Sec (Cercle 93) needed a lot of time to secure the victory over Nice. The visitors kept up with the favorites for two quarters and a half. Moreover, Nice led 3:2 and 4:3 in the opening minutes. The teams were tied at 4:4 at the first break. Noisy built a 7:5 lead, but Nice caught up with the hosts (7:7). But, Noisy went to 12:8 in the third period and maintained the difference until the last break. There were no goals in the last eight minutes.
