Brescia has been one of the most successful European clubs in the last several years and has progressed from season to season.
It was the second-best Italian club for years. In 2021, it finally ended Pro Recco’s domination and won the Italian Championships. In the same season, Brescia made the best-ever result in the Champions League, winning the bronze medal. A year after, it reached the semifinals for the second time in a row and finished 4th.
Christian Presciutti led Brescia as the captain toward these historical successes. He has played for Brescia since 2009 and has a European trophy in his treasury – the Euro Cup won in 2016. Representing Italy, Presciutti clinched two Olympic medals (silver in 2012 and bronze in 2016), a world title (2011), etc.
