Igor Milanovic is one of the few persons who won the Champions League both as a water polo player and a coach. He did it with four different clubs – playing for Mladost Zagreb and Catalunya and as a head coach of Partizan and Pro Recco. Many consider him the best water polo player of the 20th century.
Last season, Olympiacos, with Milanovic on the bench, dominated the Greek Championships and the Cup and returned to the Champions League Final Eight, where it won 5th place.
