The captain of the Greek team, Ethnikos Piraeus, is Eleni Sotireli.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper has spent her entire playing career at the club, but 2022 was unquestionably her most successful, as she led her team to the LEN Trophy and played for the Greek national team at the European Championships in Split, where they won silver.
