Last year, Theodoros Vlachos led Greece as head coach to a historic success—the Olympic silver medal.
The Greeks continued their string of great results this season by winning bronze at the World Championships.
Vlachos has been coaching Greece since 2014. In the last eight years, the Greeks have won seven medals under Vlachos’ guidance.
For more than ten years (2011 – 2022), Vlachos coached Olympiacos. After winning the 2022 Greek League coaching Olympiacos, Vlachos finished his successful mission at the Piraeus-based team. In the future, Vlachos will be fully dedicated to his work with the national team, which aims to remain in a circle of medal winners.

In the last season, Di Fulvio was the most important player for Pro Recco, which won the Champions League, and for the Italian National team that won almost everything this summer.

Croatian National Team Player. Club: Olympiacos. Position: Goalkeeper
Bijac deserves 2nd place because of his almost perfect performance during the European Championships in Split.
3. Alvaro Granados (ESP)
Spanish National Team Player. Clubs: Barceloneta, Novi Beograd. Position: left driver
He was a key player of the Spanish national team in all competitions in 2022.
4. Angelos Vlachopoulos (GRE)
Greek National Team Player. Club: Novi Beograd Position: Driver
He had a great season with Novi Beograd and the Greek national team. He did everything for the two teams to achieve their goals.
