Total Player 2023 by Konstantinos Genidounias

Konstantinos Genidounias is one of few European male water polo players who has made a great career in the β€œOld Continent” after returning from the USA.

He graduated from the University of Southern California eight years ago. Since his return to Europe, he has played for Olympiacos and won the 2018 Champions League with β€œRed Whites”.

Genidounias has been part of all the big successes of the Greek water polo team in the last ten years. He won Olympic silver, two bronze medals at the World Championships, two bronzes in the World League, etc.

In 2023, Genidounias led Greece as a captain to the most significant result of the national team at the World Championships. The Greeks won silver in Fukuoka.

Spanish National Team Player. Club: Novi Beograd. Position: Attacker.

The top scorer in the Champions League who helped his team Novi Beograd make it to the final. One of the most charismatic scorers, he was consistent all season long including World Championships and World cup where he helped Spain to reach third and first place.

Spanish National Team Player. Club: Barceloneta. Position: Driver

Led his team Barceloneta to the third place in the Champions League and won all domestic trophies in Spain. Also led his National team to third place in the Fukuoka World Championship and first place in the World Cup in Los Angeles. One of the leading scorers in the Champions League and one of the best all around performances we’ve seen
