Konstantinos Genidounias is one of few European male water polo players who has made a great career in the β€œOld Continent” after returning from the USA.

He graduated from the University of Southern California eight years ago. Since his return to Europe, he has played for Olympiacos and won the 2018 Champions League with β€œRed Whites”.

Genidounias has been part of all the big successes of the Greek water polo team in the last ten years. He won Olympic silver, two bronze medals at the World Championships, two bronzes in the World League, etc.

In 2023, Genidounias led Greece as a captain to the most significant result of the national team at the World Championships. The Greeks won silver in Fukuoka.
