Total Player 2023 by Sabrina Van der Sloot

Sabrina Van der Sloot, one of the best female players of the last decade, returns to cast her vote in the Total Player Award 2023.

Her illustrious career has seen her don the colours of some of Europe’s top teams, including Sabadell, Szentes, UVSE, and Ekipe Orizzonte. Remarkably, Van der Sloot has clinched national championships in four different countries: Hungary, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands.

As an Olympian in Tokyo, Sabrina boasts a collection of medals from prestigious international competitions. Notably, she secured the gold medal at the 2018 European Championships in Barcelona and recently led her team to clinch the World Championship gold medal this summer in Fukuoka.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Van der Sloot achieved the runner-up position in the inaugural Total Player Award in 2018, narrowly missing out to Ekaterina Prokofyeva.

Brigitte is a master of patience and smartness. She understands the game, dares to take responsibility and is able to beat several blocks and the goalie if necessary. This year she showed that she can perform on a very high level during all the important games.
