Even today, Vladimir Vujasinović is considered as one of the best players of all time. He made his debut for Yugoslavia’s national team with only 17 years. There hasn’t been one major championship since, where he didn’t grab a medal with his team. After numerous trophies on the national and international stage, he continues his water polo journey as one of the highest quality coaches today.
As a coach, he achieved excellent results with VK Partizan. They reached the Champions League semi-finals twice under his lead despite having the youngest roster of the competition.
The fact, that he is now head coach of Pro Recco, one of the strongest sports collectives in Europe, is further testament to his qualities. In addition to that, he led the Serbian junior national team to the bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in Belgrade this year.
