After the Tokyo Olympic Games, the Montenegrin national team passed through another generational switch.
But, Montenegro, which Vladimir Gojkovic has coached since 2015, managed to keep its place among the top eight teams in the world, winning 7th place at the European Championships and 8th at the World Championships.
The team proved its potential. In the following years, good results can be expected of Montenegro.
Vladimir Gojkovic, a 2004 Olympic silver medalist and former member of the Yugoslavia and Montenegro national teams, has guided Montenegro to numerous victories since 2015, including the silver medal at the 2016 European Championships and the 2021 World League title.
